Small power dry-type transformers (class 72.5 kV) are used primarily in inner-city substations as well as indoor and underground substations. They are also used in the chemical, oil and gas industries.
Dry-type transformers are environmentally safe and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. They provide excellent mechanical and short circuit strength, have no liquids to leak, and offer no danger of fire or explosion.
The transformers can be delivered with or without enclosures for extra added protection against harsh outdoor or indoor environments. They can be used in all types of applications including ground mount, primary and secondary substation units.
